I hope everyone has great plans this weekend! My husband and I are celebrating our one year anniversary this weekend, we had plans to go camping and check out some Elk BUT the weather is looking like it may rain and this girl can’t hang in those kind of weather conditions.
Now don’t get the wrong idea, I’d like to think I’m a pretty outdoorsy person. When I get cold though, she gone. Game over. I turn into a two year old child.
So, to save JT and I from getting a divorce on our one year anniversary, we will probably find an alternative and camp on another weekend.
I’d also like to dabble in some baking this weekend, try to make key lime cupcakes. We had the most amazing cupcakes at our wedding from Great Cakes . She is located in the Outer Banks and hands down makes the best cakes around.
My cupcakes will be nothing like what we had at our wedding. I don’t bake do baking well. They will end up on a Pinterest fail page, I’m sure of it BUT it’s the thought that counts, right? Not to mention it will be fun, I’m ready for fun after this week. I’ve made some big leaps this week.
Picture coming shortly!
I took a big leap of faith this week, finally decided to pursue dreams of mine. One of them being this blog. I’ve wanted to start a blog for years, terrified, and never sure of myself, I would always back down after the first few hours. I’ve finally started one, I’m still learning, figuring out how to make blog, work, life, etc. all fit in but I’m doing it. I exposed myself to all my friends and family this week, I was literally shaking as I hit post. Why so much fear? Well, blogging has been a huge learning curve for me. Writing, photography, not necessarily my strong suit but I’m going to work really hard to make it one.
Another dream of mine has been to find a way to incorporate nutrition into my life. Whether I went back to school or took classes, I want to learn more. I’ve been eyeing Precision Nutrition for more than a year now, the company opens registration twice a year and spots sell out quickly. I’ve watched two courses come and go, until this week. I did it! I got in early, I will now receive my Nutrition Precision Level 1 certification, as quickly as I can complete the course!
Now, I will have more confidence than ever to help others achieve their goals. Haven’t found words to express my excitement for this new adventure, I can tell you I cried when I received the email below.
I can’t wait to use the knowledge I gain to help others achieve their goals.
